Open Houses and Directions
OPEN HOUSES March 27 & 28 and Dec. 11 & 12 2010
The Orchid Station opens its doors to the public twice a year for Open House. This is a good chance to pick up great gifts as well as to see thousands of orchids in one place. Paul’s ‘Scratch and Dent’ table is always a hit with the bargain hunters and collectors love to dig through the benches and find the unusual! Please join us on our farm for these fun occasions. We are located just a few miles from four local vineyards so make a day of it!
Greenhouses will be open from 9:00AM until 4:00PM each day.
Directions to the Orchid Station:
From Washington, DC Area-take Rt. 29 South to Ruckersville. Rt.33 East to Eheart. Rt.644 south (right) to Rt.641, turn left to driveway on right.
From Richmond, I 64 to Zion’s Xrds.-Rt. 15 North to Gordonsville traffic Circle. Rt. 33 west to Barboursville. Rt. 20 south to Rt. 641 West (right). third driveway on left after RR bridge.
From Charlottesville, VA, Rt. 29 north past Airport Rd. Right on Burnley Station Rd. (Rt. 641). 4.5 miles driveway on right.
